Adekunle Alabi is a seasoned peacebuilding expert, researcher, and development strategist with over a decade of experience in conflict resolution, policy analysis, and community-based interventions. As the Expert and R&D Specialist at the Renaissance Foundation for Peacebuilders (REFOP), he leads the foundation’s efforts in designing evidence-based programs, conducting impact assessments, and driving innovation in peacebuilding methodologies.

With a strong academic background in Peace and Conflict Studies and Development Research, Adekunle combines academic rigor with field expertise. He has worked across various conflict-prone regions in Nigeria and West Africa, developing strategic frameworks that have enhanced youth engagement, community dialogue, and interfaith cooperation.
At REFOP, he oversees research initiatives that inform policy advocacy, training content, and grassroots campaigns. His commitment to data-driven impact ensures that REFOP’s projects are not only effective but also sustainable and scalable. Adekunle is also passionate about capacity building and regularly facilitates workshops for peace ambassadors, civil society actors, and educators.
He is a published author, a regular contributor to peace and development journals, and a respected voice in regional and international peace conferences.
